Patapin is very proud to have five dogs in wonderful Quebec show homes.
The puppies are due to enter the ring in April, 2004. This page will track their accomplishments.

The Montreal show was interesting to say the least. At the very last minute three of the four Judges were replaced for unforeseen circumstances. One group 5 replacement Judge, honestly told me that he couldn't comment on my breed as he wasn't licensed to Judge Group 5 and hadn't had time to read the standard. Aside from seeing the Quebec Patapins perform, Yogi and I went to show to respected Judge, Dr. Harry Smith at the Toy Specialty. Alas, it was not to be.
There were plenty of highlights however. Newton finished his Championship with 12 points, taking a Puppy Group. Wasabi took four points and also a Puppy Group. She is now sitting on nine points. Yogi took the breed at all four shows and came home with 20 points.
It was comforting to see that all my babies have wonderful nurturing homes and Francoise's hospitality was out of this world!! It was an enjoyable and very worthwhile trip.

On May 9, 2004, Sabrina goes Winners under Judge Edna Perks for 3 points.
April 2nd under Judge Edgar Bajona, Sabrina takes Breed and Group 2 and BPIG;
On February 8, 2004, Miss Sabrina burns up the mats at the Societe Canin de Quebec Match. In the morning she takes second in the Any Variety Puppy (AVP) class. In the afternoon, she goes BOB and Group 1 under respected minpin Judge Harold Butler!!!! Good Work Francoise.
In early June, while half way to her Championship, Sabrina developed a luxating patella in one leg.  She was examined by a specialist on June 10, 2004 and the diagnosis was confirmed.  It was graded 1 to 2.  The other leg was clear. Needless to say that we are all devastated.
Sabrina is out of Big Girl.  Big Girl is out of Sur and a leased American bitch.  This was an outcross.  Big Girl was then outcrossed to an outside American stud, producing Sabrina.  The rest of the litter is currently clear.  This litter is the most diluted (in respect to Patapin lines) that I have ever produced.
This is the first congenital problem produced by Patapin.  As I give a lifetime health guarantee, I can only assume I would hear if there have been problems. Although I have been advised "not to throw the baby out with the bath water", Big Girl will be spayed.  This is consistence with the zero tolerance for congenital problems at Patapin.  This announcement is also consistent with the totally open and upfront practice at Patapin.  Any and all congenital problems will be posted.
 Francoise is currently showing Patapin Peaches and Cream for me.  The whole family has fallen in love with Peaches and had enquired about purchasing her.  I am giving Peaches to Francoise to assist with any surgery that Sabrina may require down the road.  I am also replacing Sabrina, and as my health guarantee allows, Francoise is exercising her option to spay and keep Sabrina as a beloved member of the family.  June 11, 2004
