After you leave:

  • Thorough house cleaning, incl. Inside Fridge, Freezer and Oven.
While you are gone:

  • Weekly, bi-weekly or monthly visits to your home

  • Check thermostats to insure proper heating/cooling

  • Doors and windows checked to make sure they are locked and no signs of forced entry

  • Make sure there are no signs of leaking in plumbing in bath, kitchen, and utility room and hot water heaters

  • Check for appearance of insects or rodents

  • Circuit breakers inspected and reset if necessary

  • Flush toilets, run water in sinks, tubs, and showers

  • Refrigerator inspected to make sure it is working properly.

  • Check the AC, change filter (owner provided)

  • Security system check 

  • Water and tend to plants

  • Rotation of lights (on and off)

  • Check for damage to house or grounds

  • Newspapers, leaflets, or mail collected

  • Make sure outdoor maintenance has been satisfactorily performed

  • Verify sprinkler systems

  • Activate storm shutters pre and post storms

  • Make special inspections following major storms

  • Follow any other particular requests or needs you have

Before you arrive:
  • House Cleaning
  • Turn on heat or air-conditioning in preparation for homeowner arrival
  • Shop for household items and restock fridge before arrival
