2006 In Review

Four Patapin's finished their championships - Ch Proud Showing Machine, Am Ch Patapin Merlie Perlie, Ch Patapin Precious Lehua and Ch Patapin Bobbi Boy.

Junior went BISS and took a 4 point major his first time in the States.  He is a multi group winner and placer.

Sunshine received an invitation to Eukanuba - the fourth invitation for Patapin.

We accepted an exciting and most generous gift from Chia and Andrew.  Mal Ch Liberty Prince of Red has arrived from Malaysia!  We are currently working on his training and hope to bring him out is 2007.  He is an inbreeding on our Cash and has some of the best attitude and hackney that we have ever seen.

We placed three of our most beloved dogs together in a "to die for" family.  Brenda lives nearby and we see Yogi, Moriah and Big Girl on a regular basis.  Bitter sweet but heart warming to see how much they love their new mom.

We took a rest from the show ring and leapt into Alpacas.

Our three Patapicks for the 2007 show season - Poetry, Sammy and Rose all went oversized by six months.  Go figure.  They are definitely the nicest specimens of the breed that we have bred.  Rose is in a wonderful family in BC and Poetry and Sammy are patiently waiting for their forever homes.

We placed two show prospects.  Bobbi and Roxxi's mom Kathy has Patapin Sweet Caroline.  Caroline is Sammy's sister and it is looking like she is going to make us proud.  We placed a black and tan girl with Lucien and Marlene in Quebec.  They are the proud parents of  Group winner  Ch Patapin Black Cherry Surpreme.

This is their new puppy at 11 1/2 weeks

We are making a concerted effort to downsize as our heart gets pulled more and more into the Alpacas.  We have some of our very best animals currently Available.

We have no goals for 2007 - only to have fun.  We are however, gradually losing our enthusiasm.  At some point we can see ourselves putting all our time and enthusiasm into our beloved Alpacas.    December 31, 2006
